When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and the financial data you choose to enter (transactions, entities, categories). We do not sell your data to third parties.
Your data is used solely to provide the Hivebooks service — displaying dashboards, generating reports, and managing your bookkeeping. We may send transactional emails (password resets, welcome messages).
Your data is stored securely on our servers. Passwords are hashed using bcrypt. We use HTTPS for all connections.
We use session cookies to keep you logged in. No third-party tracking cookies are used.
You can export or delete your data at any time from your account settings. If you'd like your account completely removed, email us at hello@hivebooks.io.
We may update this policy as the product evolves. Significant changes will be communicated via email.
