Terms of Service

Last updated: February 12, 2026

The Basics

Hivebooks is a bookkeeping tool. By using it, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service.

Your Account

You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. One person per account. Don't share accounts.

Your Data

You own your data. We don't claim any rights to the financial information you enter. You can export or delete it at any time.

What We Provide

Hivebooks helps you organize and track business finances. We are not accountants, tax advisors, or financial planners. Our reports and dashboards are tools — not professional financial advice. Always consult a qualified professional for tax and accounting decisions.

Acceptable Use

Don't use Hivebooks for anything illegal. Don't try to break, hack, or reverse-engineer the service. Don't abuse the demo or create fake accounts to circumvent limits.

Service Availability

We aim for high uptime but don't guarantee 100% availability. We may perform maintenance or updates that temporarily affect access.

Payments & Cancellation

Free accounts are free. Paid plans are billed monthly. You can cancel anytime — your access continues through the end of the billing period. No refunds for partial months.

Limitation of Liability

Hivebooks is provided "as is." We're not liable for any financial losses, missed deductions, or errors resulting from use of the platform. Back up your data regularly.

Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Major changes will be communicated via email.
